amfAR Launches New Web site [amfAR.org] |

Effective Tuesday April 24, 2001, amfAR's Web site has a new look and feel. The new www.amfar.org now offers expanded HIV/AIDS-related content. Also, a good place to search for grant funds. To date, amfAR has funded over 1,850 research teams worldwide.
As stated on their site, here are just a few of the new site features:
- Site-wide search function and glossary
- Automatic posting of related topics, related articles, and links to other online material
- Point-and-click access to the CDC’s Daily
- HIV/AIDS/STD/TB News Update
- Full integration with amfAR's respected HIV/AIDS Treatment Directory
- Well-researched overviews of the epidemic in Africa and Asia
- Interviews with leaders in the fight against AIDS
- Celebrity photo galleries from special events
- New Spanish-language treatment articles
